We have hundreds of satisfied customers in the greater Area and thousands of jobs completed. Our customers are generally happy to refer us to potential customers. Once in our customers database our clients become lifelong customers. We have worked for some people several times over. They will buy new homes and move and call again. They refer us to family, friends and neighbors. We thought twice about publishing names and numbers, instead we prefer to give these references out in person during the time of an estimate.

While no one likes the idea of having to buy a new roof, no one probably likes obtaining estimates from different contractors/businesses either. When it was time to make a definitive decision about a new roof purchase, there was no hesitation that Winter Springs Roofing & Repair would have the job. A few years ago, I was dealing with a nuisance leak that had been repaired before. I saw an ad for WSRR and it said, "no job to small." I called WSRR and Bill came out right away. I told him it had been repaired twice to no avail. He advised me that there had to be a hidden problem and would likely continue leaking. I agreed to have him remove that section of the roof removed and replaced. Underneath, I had wet, rotted wood. Bill showed me the damage and made a reasonable estimate to replace the roof section. I told him full-well that we needed a new roof altogether but could not consider a major purchase at the current time. He understood and did not pressure us to do so. He looked over the roof and said that we could go a few more years but to consider and plan for a new one. Bill and his team did a fabulous job and I promised him we would call him back in a few years. The time came and I gave Bill a call. He came right out and gave me an estimate. Let me just say, a roof is not cheap! What I liked about Bill's approach was that he detailed everything that would be done, and with that, came a detailed price. At first, it was a hard pill to swallow, but I knew Bill was being straightforward with me and realistic in his pricing. The price of the estimate was indeed the price and nothing more in the end. I know that Bill has a reputable relationship with the City of Winter Springs in obtaining the proper paperwork, etc. Bill was on-site everyday and supervising his team. His guys picked up trash as they went, and used the magnet to find any nails on the ground numerous times. Everything was kept neat and clean and the integrity of our home was maintained.
As the job was completed I could see the quality of workmanship in all aspects of the roof. While Bill and I were looking at the new roof, he said, "There's nothing more I could possibly do to make this roof better. Aside from getting a 50 year shingle, this is the best and will likely not need another roof for at least 30 years." When I saw the work being done in person, I have no doubt that is true. Bill has a customer for life, us. I think a lot of people were burned by the hurricanes and unlicensed contractors, but Bill is the real thing. Thank the Lord, a good one is still out there!

We are delighted with the restoration of our tile roof. The color is exactly as shown to the sample you provided. The men did a wonderful job on all the prep work and managed to keep our new pool-deck tile clear of any overspray from the roof.
Bill many contractors overpromise and then do NOT provide the necessary follow-through to insure top quality work. Your crew was dedicated to their work and the supervisor was constantly on site.

Bill Sumner at Winter Springs Roofing replaced our roof as well as four skylights and a chimney. The quality of workmanship is everything one could expect, and far superior to any previous roofing work I've seen. I hired Bill after watching his company at work on a neighbor's house and was impressed at the detailed workmanship shown by his crew. They are skilled craftsmen who are nearly impossible to find in today's environment. Although I already had high expectations, I found Bill and his crew even more impressive when they were working on my house. We were concerned about a portion of our roof that we thought might be leaking. We called Bill. When he first looked at it, he suggested that the problem did not warrant investing money in a repair - that it would be a year or two before we had to be concerned. About a year-and-a-half later, when we saw more evidence of a problem, we called Bill again. The situation had changed to the point where a repair and replacement of shingles was necessary. We were impressed with Bill's honesty, not only on his first review of the roof, but throughout the entire process. He and his staff completed the job quickly, efficiently, and as quietly as possible (we work out of our home).
He was invaluable in helping us replace shingles that were no longer available. It is near impossible to tell the difference between the new shingles and the 11-year-old shingles that Winter Springs Roofing replaced.
Finally, Bill is a great guy and easy to talk to. Any question we had about the process was answered simply and patiently. Some of our questions were probably silly, but if so, he never let on that they were. All in all - a great experience. Parenthetically, it is raining hard as this is being written - and the roof is holding up beautifully.

In April 2010 we contracted with Bill Sumner of Winter Springs Roofing and Repair to resurface our back patio roof and replace the old, leaky skylights. Bill Sumner and his entire crew were great to work with. They did an excellent repair of the chimney and surrounding fascia on my home. It wasn’t an easy job, but they completed it on time, and unlike other roofers I’ve used, they left the job site clean without any debris in the yard. The quality of the workmanship far exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond to resolve pre-existing issues, and informed me of other potential problem areas, which I greatly appreciated. The crew even painted a small area of trim around one of the windows on the second story, and this wasn’t part of the contract or in the chimney area that was repaired! My roof had a leak and after making several phone calls to ask for an estimate, Bill was the most responsive, considerate and provided excellent service at a fair price. Recently, we moved into our new home in Tuskawilla. The house is over 15 years old and has a tile roof. We were concerned over the age of the roof as well as a number of cracked tiles. Since there was no immediate concern we investigated several roofing companies in the Winter Springs area. It was during this time that we noticed the numbers of Winter Springs Roofing vehicles in and around our neighborhood. We investigated them with several of our neighbors, all of whom gave Winter Springs Roofing a strong recommendation.
We then contacted Winter Springs Roofing and spoke with Bill. We quickly made an appointment him and he came to visit our roof and us. He thoroughly inspected our roof presented his findings to us. His knowledge and understanding of tile roofs was impressive. Because of his work with our community he was knowledgeable about the details of the construction and problems of our roof.
While his knowledge was extensive, Bill is a roofer first and displayed no tendencies of a classic salesman. His knowledge of roofing and the detailed understanding of our roof proved to be his method of making the sale with us. The price he subsequently presented was in the range we anticipated and we agreed to the proposal.
The implementation of the service was prompt and the employees were efficient and courteous. We are quite satisfied with the service provided by Winter Springs Roofing.

On 8/13/2010 Bill had his crew out to replace shingles over the hole left by a gas vent, to replace a skylight and repair the leaks on my aluminum roof over the back porch. When Bill showed up to do an inspection and tell me the cost he proposed a solution for the back porch which saved me close to 60% of the job. He told me this work would have to be done anyway so why not start there and see if it solves the problem.
The very next day we had quite the afternoon thunderstorm the type that would usually have two to four leaks show up. Not this time!!! No leaks any where!!!
So thanks to Bill for your professionalism for not doing more than is required to fix the job. Thanks to your crew who did the job quickly with little disturbance to our household routine. You get my recommendation for anyone who has any need for work on their roof!!!

When I originally contracted to replace the chimney siding, Bill found extra damage around the chimney. They replaced the damage for the price of the original estimate. When the General Contractor found termite damage above the master bathroom, Winter Springs Roofing was available to quicikly estimate and include that work with the original work.

This note is to say THANK YOU.... THANK YOU for repairing the patio roof that we have been battling with for the past 5 years, as we told you, the roof was erected in 2004, and soon after the leak started. The original builder came numerous times to try and stop the leak. After about times 10 of him coming back to try and fix the problem, we told him, to just give it up.
We contacted 2 handymen after that , and neither of them had any answers and just painted more caulking on the seams, Did not work. So we decided to ignore it for 12 months, and of course the leaks got worse. We found your ad and called. You responded the same day and was here the afternoon. We agreed on a price and you started the next morning, you did find a much larger problem that was not visible, until you had removed the flashing, you also fixed that, checked the rest of the roof, made some minor repairs, so we now have a complete roof that we do not expect any problems for quite some time.
Thank you once again, for your workmanship, and caring for your customers, you also cleaned up before you left. You can use me as a reference any time if you need to do so.

I recently had two skylights replaced on my house. The work was performed by Bill Sumner of Winter Springs Roofing and Repair. I can not say enough about the professionalism and superior work accomplished. They scheduled the work and then followed up with me a couple days before to let me know that everything was still on track and for the scheduled date and time. All the materials were top quality and far superior to what was originally installed.
I would highly recommend Winter Springs Roofing and Repair to anyone who needs roofing work done. I have been a home owner for more than 30 years and have never dealt with a more professional roofer. We had a couple of small leaks in our 12 year old home that we recently purchased "as is". The owner of company came out and inspected the roof and gave a very detailed explanation of his findings. He explained our options and did not try to pressure us into spending more than was necessary. The work was done the next day and we were presented with before/after pictures of the repairs. We appreciated the good work and detailed explanation of our options and of the repairs that were completed.
